Our IVF Treatments and Expertise – Your Path to Parenthood

HOPE BEGINS WITH SCIENCE, MIRACLES BEGIN WITH CARE

In vitro fertilization (IVF) is a type of assisted reproductive technology (ART) used to help people achieve pregnancy.

Ovarian Stimulation: Fertility medications are used to stimulate the ovaries to produce
multiple eggs.
Egg Retrieval: Mature eggs are collected from the ovaries.
Fertilization: The eggs are fertilized by sperm in a lab.
Embryo Culture: The fertilized eggs (now embryos) are monitored as they grow.
Embryo Transfer: One or more embryos are placed into the uterus.

For some patients, we recommend Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), where a
single sperm is precisely injected into each egg to enhance fertilisation success.

WHO COULD BENEFIT FROM IVF AND ICSI?

⦿ Couples who have been unable to conceive naturally
⦿ Patients diagnosed with infertility factors & unexplained infertility
⦿ Patients looking to use donor eggs, embryos or sperm
⦿ Patients wishing to use frozen eggs or sperm from previous treatment cycles

IVF IS TYPICALLY RECOMMENDED FOR:

⦿ Blocked or damaged fallopian tubes: When the fallopian tubes are blocked or damaged,
it prevents the egg from meeting the sperm naturally.
⦿ Ovulation disorders: Women who have irregular ovulation or do not ovulate at all.
⦿ Endometriosis: A condition where tissue similar to the lining inside the uterus grows
outside it, aƯecting fertility.
⦿ Unexplained infertility: When no specific cause of infertility is identified despite
thorough testing.
⦿ Mild male infertility: When there are minor issues with sperm quality or quantity

ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection)

ICSI is particularly beneficial for:

⦿ Severe male infertility: Such as low sperm count (oligospermia), poor sperm motility, or abnormal sperm morphology.
⦿ Previous failed fertilization in IVF cycles: When conventional IVF has not resulted in successful fertilization.
⦿ Sperm retrieved surgically: In cases where sperm is obtained directly from the testicles or epididymis due to blockages or absence of sperm in the ejaculate

Both procedures have high success rates, but the choice between them depends on the specific fertility issues being addressed. Consulting with a fertility specialist can help determine the most suitable option based on individual circumstances.
