Ovarian Stimulation: Fertility medications are used to stimulate the ovaries to produce
multiple eggs.
Egg Retrieval: Mature eggs are collected from the ovaries.
Fertilization: The eggs are fertilized by sperm in a lab.
Embryo Culture: The fertilized eggs (now embryos) are monitored as they grow.
Embryo Transfer: One or more embryos are placed into the uterus.
For some patients, we recommend Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), where a
single sperm is precisely injected into each egg to enhance fertilisation success.
Both procedures have high success rates, but the choice between them depends on the specific fertility issues being addressed. Consulting with a fertility specialist can help determine the most suitable option based on individual circumstances.
